Mountain Dew Dewshine

Given a complete of lack of experience in the subject, my ability to parse the flavor of Pepsi's Mountain Dew's Dewshine is not terribly "sophisticated". What I can say, halfway through a bottle, is that it is no Mountain Dew. They seem to be playing off their "real sugar" ploy from earlier last year with faux rustic signage, going so far as to use the same guy with a moonshine jug on the front.

It is far more citric than Mountain Dew and, like the real sugar variant from before, it lacks the kick that makes the Dew worth drinking in the first place. Even discounting the lack of aggressive mouth feel, it just isn't all that well blended. The orange flavor comes through and sits after the carbonation dies down on your tongue.
